A couple of years ago my Mom went through colon cancer and all of the challenges
that come with that. She fully recovered and is doing great but I was moved at
how hard it was for her and our family and friends. I hoped that I would never
have to walk with a loved one through that again. Unfortunately, a little over
a year ago, my Mother-in-Law was diagnosed with breast cancer and again we faced
the battle of cancer. I am extremely happy to let people know that she also fully
recovered and is doing great but again the thought of some of the most important
women in my life having to deal with this disease was at times overwhelming. I
remember praying and many times wishing I could do more to support my Moms
during their struggle. I never knew what I could do other than pray and love them.
I remember hearing about Shear Hope and I immediately thought I can grow
my hair, I can do that. So, I did! I am so grateful to have another
way that I can show my love and support to my Moms and the millions of people
that are stricken by cancer or are walking alongside loved ones who are.
May God bless Shear Hope and the many people that are supported by this ministry.
