raised so far: $85 I was introduced to Shear Hope a couple of months ago
by a friend of mine. As I watched her unselfishly donate her hair and heard her
testimony and the reasons why she felt the need to do this, I started to think
of what I could do. The question went through my mind as it did hers, "Could
I do that for someone I didn't know?" The answer was definitely "YES." I
may not know many people with the disease of cancer, and I know I could never
understand the fullness of what they go through daily, but to donate my hair just
feels like the right thing to do. I don't regret the decision and I know that
I won't regret the act. May God bless Jeffrey and Molly Young and their
family, Shear hope, and all the victims of cancer, Amen. |
